Anthony DeMuro Named Executive Chef of AAA Four-Diamond Different Pointe of View Restaurant

Phoenix, Ariz., April 7, 2008 – Ron Simon, General Manager of the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs , is proud to announce the appointment of Anthony DeMuro to Executive Chef of its acclaimed Different Pointe of View restaurant .

DeMuro’s new menu will focus on American cuisine with regional Mediterranean influences utilizing the freshest ingredients and local grown produce whenever possible.

“Chef DeMuro has done an exemplary job overseeing every aspect of restaurant and banquet kitchen operations at both the Pointe Hilton Tapatio and Squaw Peak Resorts,” said Ron Simon, General Manager of the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs. “Chef DeMuro continues to impress our guests with his culinary creations throughout our restaurant group. With his extensive restaurant background combined with his food and beverage experience and overall professionalism, Chef DeMuro is a natural fit for this position.”

DeMuro has enjoyed a long career in the hotel restaurant industry. He has been with the Pointe Hilton Resorts since May 2005 serving as Bi-Property Executive Chef for more than ten restaurants housed at both resorts. Previously, he served as Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director for the Double Tree La Posada Resort in Scottsdale for nine years. He came to that resort from Red Lion in California where he enjoyed numerous positions of growing responsibility working his way through the kitchen ranks.
